As any girl who has ever turned fifteen can surely attest, teen girls and WWE wrestlers aren’t quite so different. Luckily, World Wrestling Entertainment is joining forces with Mun2 to give one special quinceañera a wrestling-themed party. Because sometimes bashing Marisol’s head against the bathroom sink at the airport Hilton just isn’t enough:

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is holding an “Ultimate Quinceañera” sweepstakes with Spanish-language TV network Telemundo’s youth cable channel, Mun2. The winning girl, chosen at random, will get a quinceañera party for herself and 50 friends. Her guests will include two professional wrestlers from WWE’s Raw program, Carlito and Diva Melina, said Melissa Seffens, WWE’s director-network affiliate marketing.

WWE’s Raw, which airs weekly on Mun2, is among the top five shows on the Hispanic cable network and celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, which led to the quinceañera idea, said Lisa Hackett, VP-marketing for Mun2. In Mexico, wrestling is called “lucha libre” and frequently features masked contestants who become heroes.

Anything combining teen girls and the concept of “rawness” can only end spectacularly well.
