Javier Bardem Suffered Depression Thanks To His Suri Cruise Haircut

Spanish actor Javier Bardem was apparently so embarrassed by his haircut in No Country For Old Men, that he developed depression. And we’re developing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder just reading about this:
Bardem, who is a favourite to win the Best Supporting Actor prize at the upcoming Academy Awards for his performance in the Coen Brothers film, was so ashamed of his new look, he avoided venturing out in public.
His co-star Josh Brolin says, “He was depressed during the process… He felt like he wouldn’t have sex for three months. Full-blown depression. I mean, bad. (He) didn’t like the way he looked. He’d stay home for hours on end. He wouldn’t go out.
Luckily, he could probably fashion a jaunty little hat out of the money he made to wear a stupid haircut for a few weeks.
Bardem admits he was surprised by how his unusual look affected him psychologically.
He says, “You see yourself, you see the haircut. You don’t realise that it’s affecting you in a very delicate way, through your own psyche.
“What happened to me was that after a couple of weeks, I was a little bit - a little bit - strange to myself. There was something that was not familiar. It was like, ‘What am I doing here?’”
We have no idea what he’s talking about. Depression seems to be a term that’s just thrown around these days. You could shave our head, dye our hair magenta or give us a Chilean mullet and we’d still be nose-deep in… stuff. Stuff that vaguely resembles the shape of Javier’s nose.

That haircut really was freaky and added to his creepy character!
On one hand, I kinda understand. I got a bad, bad haircut in college that was a whole lotta “strange to myself.”
On the other money-filled hand, he should shut up and get over it.
I understand where is he comming from. I am traumatized! I have curly hair and it you dont cut it right it one side will be longer than the other …I haven’t paid for a haircut for about 2 years now because of that.
so i decided if my hair is going to be fucked up looking i’ll just cut it myself. you’d think it looks crappy but it actually looks beter than the $25 hair cuts i used to get!

I always thought the haircut looked more like that big indian’s do from “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest”. Still disturbing, though. I do much appreciate the links to his hotness… especially that first one. The man can wear facial hair well.
