Frida Torresblanco, the executive producer of our favorite movie-with-a-scene-where-one-guy-disfigures-an-old-man with-a-broken-bottle, Pan’s Labyrinth, is accused of getting all fascist on her nanny’s ass. And not, like, in a sexy German underground video sort of way:
Frida Torresblanco allegedly underpaid the nanny, Angelica Hernandez, and also physically abused her after the nanny attended a Domestic Workers United meeting to learn about labor rights, the complaint said.
Uppity! Also? Frida Torresblanco doesn’t care about brown people:
Ms. Torresblanco’s husband, Marc Weiss, is also named in the complaint. The lawsuit also accuses the couple of racial discrimination, alleging that two white European nannies employed during the same period as Ms. Hernandez, who is Hispanic, were not subjected to the same treatment.
Isn’t that what the help are for, to break? Seriously, who do you think types these posts? Shit, not us. Lupe does it. When she’s not shining our spiky boots.
