Marcover: In Which Mark Shares That He Has Learned Absolutely Nothing From This Experience

MakingMark.jpg

Mark is a single, gay Cuban-American living in New York—a city some say is the toughest place in America to be single. After a few false starts, he’s finally ready to go out and meet the guy of his dreams. But, first, he’d like a little bit of friendly help from Guanabee. We’ll send him to a gym, give him some style tips, get him a new outfit and turn him into Prince Charming by Valentine’s Day. So join Associate Editor Alex Alvarez as she and Guanabee help Mark get a new look, a new perspective and, hopefully, a hot new Argentine boyfriend. Because everyone could use a Marcover now and again. Your life depends on it. No pressure, though.

It is with great apathy sadness that I present you all with the final installment of “Marcover.” Mark is currently away in Argentina, trying to subtly sexually molest a certain coworker and taking progressively longer and longer lunch breaks at his new job. Before he left, though, he and I sat down on the set of a snuff film. But before that, I interviewed him about his thoughts on this whole Marcover thing. And learned that he’d pretty much taken nothing away from this experience. JK! He totally got a new haircut. We also talked about the advice he’d received from both the Gay Shrink and Gabriel, as well as you guys and all the wonderful, positive feedback you kiss-asses had for Mark throughout his journey.

So sit back, break out the Vaseline and watch as my hair gets progressively more unruly and Mark carefully considers his answer to what is, perhaps, the most important philosophical question facing young daters today. “If you could be any tree, what kind of tree would you be? And why?”

@ Marco- I’d be a palm too!!!

yeah palms are great

Marco does this mean you have a coco rayado?

Wow. We are so funny and cute. I want to be friends with us.

Look out Regis and Kelly!

“pursue your dreams and don’t let things stand in your way’ that’s the ‘stay sweet and have a bitchen summer’ of the 21at century.

Good luck, Marco. And take care of Alex. Also, she’s way cooler than Kelly Ripa. There’s no doubt about that.

Loved the shout out!!!!!! Basically the Marcover is the only feature I find even vaguely interesting about this blog, are you going to give updates once in a while?

I love how Alex laughs at her own jokes, so HOT!

@ ponte: Well, someone has to.
