In an unnecessarily confusing report, a Denver paper describes two beatings doled out by a “gang” of two 19-year-olds:

15-Year-Old Boy Says Suspects Roughed Him Up On Bus
Say what? All you need is an “and” and or a “too,” folks. Don’t be stingy.
Two teenagers were arrested Tuesday in Boulder, accused of beating up a Hispanic man while they asked, “Why are you stealing our jobs?”
The 26-year-old Lafayette victim said he was leaving the PDQ convenience store on Manhattan Circle and S. Boulder Road when two teenagers called him racist names and began pushing and punching him.
The victim, Ivan Ponce De Leon-Najera, said one of the teens also tried to spit on him.
Stealing their jobs? Bitch please. No one is lining up behind you to ask me if I want extra sprinkles on my TCBY.
Investigators also learned that the teens allegedly roughed up a 15-year-old on the bus just before the fight at PDQ.
The Caucasian boy said the teens grabbed his cell phone and skateboard and when he tried to get it back, they pushed him to the ground. He was able to get his cell phone back but when he left the bus he called 911 because he was concerned they would hurt someone else, police said.
So. Are they telling us the Hispanic male was not also Caucasian? Or that the beatings were not charged by xenophobia? Color us confused.
