An Inspiring Video Tribute To A Quadriplegic Doing More With His Life Than You Are

If you feel like life is unfair because that guy you wanted to marry broke your heart in a million pieces, or your boss gave the corner office to that dickweed with the Harvard MBA, take a look at this video about a quadriplegic named Nick Vujicic from Austrailia who swims and brushes his teeth and makes a breakfast that would melt your mouth and then shut the fuck up, you ungrateful crybaby. With arms. And legs. Title translation:

People break down in tears (well, Daniel does) at the sight of Nick. Check out the pictures on his website, Life Without Limbs. In the bio section, there’s an interesting tale of Nick’s parents reaction to his birth:
….To count our hurt, pain and struggle as nothing but pure joy? As my parents were Christians, and my Dad even a Pastor of our church, they knew that verse very well. However, on the morning of the 4th of December 1982 in Melbourne (Australia), the last two words on the minds of my parents was “Praise God!”. Their firstborn son had been born without limbs! There were no warnings or time to prepare themselves for it. The doctors were shocked and had no answers at all!
It’s a tale we’ve heard many times. Religious devotees surprised at their own misfortune–Nick’s bio details how the whole town mourned over his birth and how his parents were absolutely devastated, especially since they were good Christians–only to come to terms with it as a test from God. Amazingly, Nick has made a quite life for himself as a motivational speaker and has pretty high ambitions.
I want to become financially independent by the age of 25, through real estate investments, to modify a car for me to drive and to be interviewed and share my story on the “Oprah Winfrey Show”! Writing several best-selling books has been one of my dreams and I hope to finish writing my first by the end of the year. It will be called “No Arms, No Legs, No Worries!”

He’s not a quadriplegic, though, he’s a (congenital) quadruple amputee. South Park made the same mistake. :)
It’s amazing that he can do all that with no limbs. Some practical questions came to mind while I was watching it though, like, “How exactly does sex work with that condition?”, and “Doesn’t the shuffling around on the bottom of the torso hurt the boys a bit?”
The odd things that come to my mind…
Folks like Nick are here to show us the big picture, not the little stuff about how his sex organs work or how he opens a can with his tongue. In my opinion, he is one of the Master Teachers that comes along in a lifetime to teach us spiritual lessons. Namaste, my brothers and sisters******
