How did we miss Andreia Schwartz last week? She’s the Brazilian-born former hooker and madame who served as an informant to the feds during their investigation of the Emperors Club VIP, the high-priced call girl service that serviced New York’s former governor Eliot Spitzer $80,000 times. Ms. Schwartz was a former employee of the Emperors Club who branched out to start her very own high-priced call girl service—“among whose clients was allegedly Time Warner Chief Financial Officer Wayne Pace.” It really does choke one up to see the American dream in action, no? That is until she was busted in 2006:

She accepted a guilty plea in state court that gave her immunity from federal prosecution and a sentence of time served in return for her agreement not to fight deportation.

Although Schwartz knew nothing about Eliot Spitzer’s patronage of her former employers’ services, she did lead authorities to the paper trail that ultimately outed the former New York governer. Whoops. But none of this deterred her mama waiting at home.

Schwartz’s mother, 48-year-old Elza Dias, told the [New York Daily] News that Schwartz “did the right thing” by keeping any incriminating information to herself and returning home. “She has to take advantage of this moment and earn money in Brazil.”
