It appears that Jessica Alba and company won’t be returning to the theater in a third installment of the Fantastic Four franchise. Probably because the whole thing was a fantastic bore. Guys. Shut up. It’s Friday. Chris Evans, who plays Human Torch in our daydreams and maybe also in the movie, says:
“I’m pretty sure we won’t do [another] one…I’m assuming that one is a closed book.”
And then Jessica Alba, who plays the Invisible Woman in our daydreams and maybe also in the movie, was all:
“I have no idea. I know the writers strike and the impending actors strike has kind of put a wrench in everything production wise. That film takes a lot of prep, a good six months of prep and about six months to shoot. With the strike, I think, maybe it’s put on hold.”
But don’t worry, fans of movies-based-on-comics. There are about seventy-five other movies about comic heros coming out between now and Christmas.

Jessica can now let the air out of her lips.
