Fat, Cancer-Prone Hispanic Children Also Most Likely To Die In Car Accidents

Not only are you shoveling deep fried chocolate marshmallow butter balls down your babies’ throats, Awful Hispanic Parents, you’re also going to kill your children by not making them wear seat belts:

The National Latino Children’s Institute reports that Hispanic children are more likely to die in a car accident. The institute also noted that car crashes are the leading cause of death for Hispanic children. One of the main reasons is a lack of using seat belts and car seats.
“We have a low level of child safety education, unfortunately,” said Ford spokesperson Alvaro Cabal. “That is not a priority in our community and we need to create more awareness and save more lives.”
The National Latino Children’s Institute reported that there is a drop in car restraint use in the Hispanic community. In 2006, 92 percent of Hispanic children ages 4 to 7 used car restraints compared to 75 percent in 2007.

Why do you suppose this is? Our parents were pretty much hellbent on making sure we wore a seat belt, helmet, knee pads and bubble wrap every time we so much as stepped out of the house, so we weren’t even aware this trend among Hispanic parents existed. Thoughts? Were your parents as safety-crazed as ours? Or did they strap your ass to the top of the car with twine and hope for the best?

Meh. Let’s take a page out of GBAN’s self hating monologues and say this: Most Latinos in the US are poorly educated, and thus are more prone to making poorly informed decisions in their life. This extends to Automobile safety just as it extends to diet and exercise choices. This has nothing to do with being “Hispanic” and more to do with being lower class and uneducated. We all know this is true. Being of Latin-American extraction does not genetically doom an individual to have a natural aversion to seat belts and the like. Postulating the opposite would be a mistake, and pretty “racist” to boot…

My parents made damn sure we all wore our seat belts. Always.

my parents were born and raised in mexico in a small ass town, where i’ve seen people riding in cars with their babies on their laps! …my mom has a 5th grade education and my father about 8th grade education. But they ALWAYS made sure we were buckled up.
I dont think it’s uneducated people… more like lazy and careless people with no common sense.

LOok Here Crackers, only because we are hispanic, does not mean that we are uneducated. Fucken idiots… And what the fuck does education have to do with wearing a fucken seatbelt?? It’s not like they have a class in high school or college that teaches you how to properly put a seatbelt on… Fucken ignorant retards.. LOL!!! OH, look at Brittney Spears!!! She’s a cracker driving around with her baby on her lap!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!! Put a pic of that on this shit!!!
