As was reported last week, Hugo Chavez recently went apeshit when Colombia illegally invaded Ecuador’s airspace to perform a military strike that killed 25 people including FARC second in command Raul Reyes. Chavez evicted all Colombian diplomats from Venezuela and placed his troops at the border, threatening war. That all seems to have blown over now that Colombia has unearthed documents which threaten to justify genocide charges against Venezuela in an international court for allegedly secretly providing funds to FARC:

The Venezuelan Foreign Ministry said it was reopening its embassy in Colombia and will allow back Colombian diplomats it expelled last week. It cited an easing of tensions at a summit in the Dominican Republic on Friday, where President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela and Ecuadorean President Rafael Correa shook hands with Colombia’s U.S.-backed leader, Alvaro Uribe, after a tense debate.

Meanwhile, Rafael Correa, the guy whose country actually got shit all blown up, stood by like a bitch.
