Latina for hire Vanessa Hudgens is said to be pissed that Lindsay Lohan’s younger sister and future trainwreck 14-year-old Ali is auditioning for a role in High School Musical 3. Girls, girls. Chill out; there are enough Bonne Bell LipSmackers to go around (omg, remember those?):
“When Vanessa heard that Ali was vying for a part in High School Musical 3, she flipped,” says an insider. “She knows Ali isn’t Lindsay, but she’s still weary of the drama the Lohan clan brings.”
Don’t worry, Vanessa. Nothing those Lohan skanks cook up could take attention away from your talents.

“Latina for hire”? Ahem, I prefer “Vanessa (I’m-not-really-Latina-I-just-play-one-on-TV, lulz!) Hudgens”. Sigh! So they couldn’t really find an actual Latina to play this role? Really? Coz last time I checked the Latina population in the US far outnumbers the population of half Irish, half Filipino girls that sort-of look “Mexican”, just sayin…

I think Vanessa Ann Teodoro Hudgens does not only look Mexican, but evidently she could Sing, Dance, Act, AND can deliver a perfect American Accent. It’s rare to find a complete package such as Vanessa.
Now, now. That’s why it’s called “acting”. It’s no big deal.
Also, another Vanessa - Vanessa Ferlito who is of Italian descent often portrays Latinas onscreen too because she has the “look”.
BTW, the Philippines was conqured and colonized by Spaniards about 500 years ago. They intermixed with the native population, while forcing upon them Catholism, Spanish culture (including Spanish names), and the Spanish language (yes, Spanish was once widely spoken in the Philippines before it was conquered by the Unites States after the Spanish-American War). Many people over there do look mixed. They are even referred to as “Mestizos”. Reminds you a little of another country…south of the border?
