Oh Gnomes! It’s Our Top 5 Most Terrifying Gnome Videos

We totally couldn’t get enough of that earlier Argentine gnome in Salta footage, even if we had to watch it with our hands covering our face. While screaming. And maybe peeing just a little. Gnomes: They’re small. They’re sneaky. They’re scary. They’re probably chilling under your bed right now. These small, ugly creatures have captivated the imagination of many Latin American countries, playing on long-held superstitions. Not entirely unlike men who holler at us from their bicycles. Thus, it was of absolutely no surprise to us that the last scaryass gnome video came out of Argentina.
So, please, join us as we countdown our Top 5 favorite gnome sightings, all of which happen to take place in Latin America. Come, there’s some room over here, under our blanket.

Ok, so, by now you know the drill: Group of guys chilling in some lot. Grainy camera footage. Scary ass gnome skipping around in the darkness.
Here, we see a garden gnome as he terrorizes someone’s garden at night. All that was left the next morning was a pointy hat and various little turd nuggets under the hydrangea bushes.
This little gnome, in Mexico, is something of a party crasher. We bet that main dude is probably super psyched not to be the shortest person at a party for once.
This video, which features some of the most frightening music that’s ever assaulted our eardrums, shows some sort of creature in a pointy hat traipsing through a bedroom. That ain’t shit, though. We’ve seen rats wearing suspenders and rollerskates in the subway.
Nothing ruins a perfectly nice game of hackysack like a mythical creature darting from the shadows.
So, we know we said “Top 5, gnome videos” but we also found an alien apparition so here it is as well. And also, this video is just too frightening not to share with our -annoying- lovely commenters. You’ve been warned.

I had no idea Hispanic people were supposed to be afraid of gnomes… I guess that would explain why that Argentinian gnome scared me badly enough to keep me up at night, but all my non-Latino friends think it’s dumb…. waaaahhhhh… Thanks for the additional nightmare fodder.
In many of the “duende” videos, the witnesses are either playing some kind of ball and scream like they have no balls.
Hahahaha. Most of the videos were really funny… I think they are just monkeys, chikens or simple jokes. Gnomes don’t exist!.

the first one was believable. the others could have been animals or something. and i have that alien costume at home! lol.
