I have read this story twice, and nearly fell off my seat both times!

I am disturbed, disturbed, disturbed. I even feel slightly faint and peevish…

Why aren’t we assisting our mentally challenged family and getting them to hospital???! Thomas is a WOMAN, who needs psychiatric help. No, an exorcism!

What is the role of psychiatrists in this world?! Why can’t we just have pple who beat some sence up in our heads and tell us to GROW UP and appricate who you were created to be!!!??!!

Am not perfect, and believe me, i feel guilty when i sin, and am embarrased to share these sins with the world, so i fess up privately. I would never go on TV with any of my dellusions, no matter how creative, but that is just me.

Any psychiatrist of a person who assumes that they are a different gender from what they were created to be, needs to be taken to Guantanamo, for acts of terrorism against the mind of the simple troubled! They should not earn big bucks or hold another session.

Oprah… dunno what to say about that lady, but like it or not, she validates a whole load of Bull crap, and she has more power than she cares to admit.

This story is an abuse to peace of mind and represents absolute evil.

These two women need help. The one thinking she is a man, and the one thinking she is married to a man.

The enemy is stealing peoples good sense, killing the mores that hold society together, and destroying lives. Thomas and his girlfriend are in way over their heads, skidding down a road that will cause so much pain, taht we cannot even begin to comprehend.

Oprah and he rest of us cannot continue to allow people to feel free to act and talk crazy in public!

She is not a man.

Cutting off your breasts does not a man make, or else all women who have had masectomies are men. Wanting to be a man, and taking drugs to turn you into that does not also make one a man!

This is not judgmental….it is fact.

Example: An apple tree is still an apple tree even if it is planted in the middle of pineapple bushes. And it will never get the “pine” of the pineapple, no matter what it gets watered with or if chooses to change its blooming season.

Example: A cat that lives with dogs, does not become a a dog, even if it learns how to bark, and eats dog food that make it grow to the size of a pig!

Now, if you graft an apple bush to a pineapple bush what is the result?

If one’s cat and dog have sex, what do they give birth to?

In all this, am more concerned about the kid born to this couple (infact sincerely concerned, to the point i will get down on my knees for them!), than i am the Lesbians mentally dellusioned into thinking they are men.

Sorry, but the word of God is the word of God. Its not a joke book. God means what he says. If someone wants to do their own ‘thing’ and go against God’s word and make it sound so sweet and peachy keen on how they want to live, then God will be the judge in the end. God gives man a choice, He is not a dictator. If man decides to break God’s word, then that is man’s own choice. Everyone has sinned, but when you ask for forgiveness, that is the difference. When one doesn’t and “wants” to live opposite of God’s word on purpose, then it’s another story. Someday, everyone will see there is God, and they will see He meant business, and His commandments were not to be scoffed at, and ignored. I don’t care who gets a sex change, you are who you are when your born. Men don’t have babies period. Sex change means nothing. In God’s eyes, they are born a woman or a man, and no knife cutting or pills can truly make someone the opposite, only in outward look. The Beatie baby is beautiful, but no man had her.

Okay so I am NOT judging but I will tell you people what the bible says. The bible says that homosexuality is a sin!!!! It’s in Leviticus 18:22. This lifestyle is IMMORAL & DISGUSTING!!!!! God did NOT intend for this “man” to be born a man or he would have created it so. He wanted her to be a woman!!! She decided to step in and play God and she WILL have to answer to God on judgement day as we all will, but her poor children are going to be completely and utterly messed up to extreme!!!! We must just remember to pray for the children!!! Pray that God would some how move them out of that home and into a normal and Godly home because they DESERVE that much!!!!!

This is so redonkulous. Why didn’t shim just stay a beautiful WOMAN that shim used to be. I understand the whole lesbian thing but come on really? Why did shim have to cut off shim’s breasts? This is not necessarily a response to anybody elses comment but rather my own opinion regarding thomas beatties decision to have a child, and the overall reaction of society and media.

Who cares whether or not it is an actual male or an actual female!

This is a person who made a choice to live their life as a male, they had sexual reassignement surgery and live as a male. As far as this person, and those who are compassionate and non-judgemental enough to recognize the situation, this person is a male. If this person hadn’t so succesfully integrated themselves into society as a male, no one would be so surprised and put off by this. The fact that people even judge in the first place is mind boggling to me. Its not even anyone elses business what OTHER people are doing with their life. Granted we all seem to have an odd voyeristic obsession with other people, as we vicariously live through all channels of media, when will we as a people start worrying about OURSELVES, and leave other people alone?!

Personally I say CONGRATULATIONS to thomas, good luck to the both of you, I know you will make awesome supportive and loving parents, who will probably raise their child with more understanding and compassion than most of the natural parents in the world today.
