THAT IS NOT A MAN! It is not even a natural-born hermaphrodite (half male & half female born with both a male & female body). That so-called pregnant man is really a LESBIAN WOMAN wanting to be a man and taking testosterone hormone shots to get a facial beard and hairy body with muscles to look masculine, and had surgery to cut off her breasts and enlarge her clitoris to look like a mini-penis, yet she kept her vagina and internal female reproductive organs so that she can have a baby. So now she has both a male & female body. That makes her half male & half female, NOT A MAN! How funny that she is so desperate to be a man, yet she kept her vagina and internal organs that made her a woman, and now she’s claiming to be a man having a baby! Newsflash…you are not a man if you still have a vagina and female internal organs!! At most you are a surgically altered transgender lesbian with both a male and female body…half man & half woman, NOT A MAN. Furthermore, she was born a woman and will ALWAYS be a woman because no amount of surgery nor testosterone shots will ever change her genetic DNA and XX Chromosomes which make her a WOMAN! Shame on the media and Oprah for misleading headline of that person as a pregnant man when they know it is really a WOMAN, and much less a surgically altered transgender lesbian!!

This is not necessarily a response to anybody elses comment but rather my own opinion regarding thomas beatties decision to have a child, and the overall reaction of society and media.

Who cares whether or not it is an actual male or an actual female!

This is a person who made a choice to live their life as a male, they had sexual reassignement surgery and live as a male. As far as this person, and those who are compassionate and non-judgemental enough to recognize the situation, this person is a male. If this person hadn’t so succesfully integrated themselves into society as a male, no one would be so surprised and put off by this. The fact that people even judge in the first place is mind boggling to me. Its not even anyone elses business what OTHER people are doing with their life. Granted we all seem to have an odd voyeristic obsession with other people, as we vicariously live through all channels of media, when will we as a people start worrying about OURSELVES, and leave other people alone?!

Personally I say CONGRATULATIONS to thomas, good luck to the both of you, I know you will make awesome supportive and loving parents, who will probably raise their child with more understanding and compassion than most of the natural parents in the world today.

At some point this BS has to stop. This is a woman plain and simple. Only in America can people deceive themselves and play the politically correct game where blatant lies are told in order to make some people feel better about their twisted little minds. Where I grew up a man was a man and a woman was a woman. And if you were gay, you had the decency to keep it to yourself. Tracy Lagondino aka Thomas Beatie is a woman. Oprah went along with the game for ratings. Oprah is not a stupid woman. She knows she interviewed a lesbian couple. A spade is a spade by any other name. It’s time the American press stopped pandering to confused, mentally ill people who just want to be in the news and make money.
