The Met’s “blog.mode: addressing fashion” Has Tedious Title, Is Brought To You By Manolo Blahnik
4 March 2008, 10:30 AM. By Daniel Mauser
Manolo Blahnik, Spanish shoe designer to the stars and other such whores, is proud to bring you “blog.mode: addressing fashion,” a new exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The name is all in lower case letters and sprinkled with superfluous punctuation because it is from the future.
The exhibition, which, like a spicy Latino, has its very own blog, which contains commentary directly about items featured within the exhibit. “Blog.mode: addressing fashion” features over forty costumes to from the eighteenth century to the present day, when robots slowly take over for your family members in the night while you sleep and dream of fashion.
