Cameron Diaz’s 58-year-old father, Emilio, has died of pneumonia. Sad:

Mr Diaz was a second generation Cuban-American who worked an oil company.

His daughter got the news while working on her new movie ‘My Sister’s Keeper’. Production on the movie has now been shut down, reports Usmagazine.com. The ‘Charlie’s Angels’ star”s rep did not respond to request for comment.

Poor Cameron. Ever since we saw her on some late show talking about eating lechón for Noche Buena, we’ve had a little soft spot reserved for her in the void where we suppose our hearts should be.
