Counterfeit Raid In Queens Leaves A Lot Of People Clutching Tight To Their Nolexes
4 April 2008, 10:30 AM. By Daniel Mauser
A raid in Queens, New York finds officials in charge of carting away at least five tractor trailers’ worth of counterfeit merchandise, including handbags, footwear and apparel. There goes your Cucci purse, Yesleysis:
Thousands of handbags bearing the Burberry, Chanel, Coach, Fendi, Kate Spade, Gucci and Prada labels were confiscated during a raid at 129-02 Northern Boulevard in the Corona section of Queens on Thursday afternoon. In addition, a cache of Nike-labeled footwear and Bathing Ape-labeled jogging suits was discovered.
Bathing Ape is so stupid, if only because”BAPE” never fails to look like “RAPE” when someone dressed like neon vomit comes hurtling past you on the street. Coincidentally, this raid occured on the same night that Louis Vuitton hosted a gala event at the Brooklyn Museum and also the same night a certain someone had terrible shooting diarrhea.

why oh why must they continue the raids???
There is no joy in Gotham if one cannot fly in on the cheap from the Midwest and score some “Koaches or Fendy’s or Louise Vittons”. I was so looking forward to this trip - alas and alack I ended up paying $30 for D & G bag that probably won’t last a week.
I am coming back in July and this “Nightmare on
Canal street” better be over!
Yes we saw 2 musicals, one a steal from TKTS, but the other in previews was a long way from being a hit.
Please Mayor Bloomberg - lay off the poor Chinese. I think this sounds racially motivated. Look into this will ya?
