Harvard Students Honoring Daddy "Gasolina" Yankee As Latino Of The Year

daddy-yankee.gif

Word on the internet is that Ramon “Daddy Yankee” Ayala, the pride of Latinos everywhere, is being honored on April 26th with a prestigious Latino of the Year Award that we’ve never heard of from some kids at Harvard who really should have been born before CD’s. We couldn’t find official confirmation of the news, but we did find an article stating that Daddy Yankee’s extremely successful producers Francisco Saldaña and Victor Cabrera are former Harvard cafeteria workers—which pretty much makes us question the entire order of the universe. Wonder if Daddy will compose a special song for the awards ceremony that includes semen euphemisms and big booty hoes to hump with it.

It’s true… Want me to send you the official announcement email?

Wait, is he being honored by the students or by the cafeteria workers?

I am one of the students honoring Ramon Ayala and I personally think you should do further research before you publish more “facts.”

Mr. Ayala IS being honored by the student organization Presencia Latina of Harvard College on April 26h for his work with Puerto Rican youth. Furthermore, Mr. Ayala’s recognition has no relation with his producers and their connection with the college. I personally think, it is an unwarranted insult to imply such a thing.

I suggest you find reliable sources before you mouth off anymore.

M

it was only bewildering to see this artist be awarded because his lyrics are so demeaning to women. It is wonderful that he has done positive work with Puerto Rican work. I hope he treats the young ladies he works helps out with more respect. Obviously his musical career overshadows his public works.

Guadalupeatharvard, HUH? Your’e joking right? do me a favor, send me the work he’s done in the Latino communities of…shoot, anywhere! I’d love to be corrected, as there is no redeeming values in his music other than to shake your nalgas off, which has it’s place. But really? Latino of the Year? Harvard? Please educate…me….now

I completely agree…yea even if he has done work with Puerto Rican youth, which is commendable, are you freakin serious? Latino of the YEAR? Geez, are there not any Latinos who devote their LIVES (not just a little time in between writing sexually explicit songs) to working with Latino communities that are more deserving of the award? Don’t get me wrong, I like reggaeton and have nothing against Daddy Yankee, but when Harvard students choose him as Latino of the Year, well I’ll say it, it’s pretty embarassing.

all y’all mofo’s betta recognize. there is only one Ramon Ayala in my world:

@soledad: Yes, please!

@el gran chingon: That’s right.

Hey,

So it’s late after this was posted, but you guys should have done some research. Saldaña and Cabrera are the real names of Luny Tunes, who were at Presencia last year.

@soledadenmasa: sorry, but how is this information a correction of the above?
