Demonstrations are set to be held in Miami and other cities today to mark the 6th anniversary of a series of protests and a brief coup d’état against Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. We’ll bring cupcakes:
The protests will be part of a world demonstration named “No More Chávez.” The demonstration was organized by organizations of Venezuelan emigrants and opposition groups comprising the network of Resistencia Civil de Venezolanos en el Exterior (Recivex), reported organizers, as quoted by AFP.
Similar protests are scheduled to take place in different towns in Venezuela, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Chile, Canada, Mexico and several European countries, such as Spain, Switzerland, Germany and Great Britain, they added.
“No More Chavez?” Kind of boring, no? We would suggest trying something a little more snappy and easily marketable. Maybe like “Way To Farc Everything Up, Asshole” or “Naomi Campbell Hit This.”
