Dr. Phil’s Goonie PA Bailed Out One Of The Girls Who Beat Florida Teen Victoria Lindsay

Filed under “Arts” (ha!) the New York Times reports a story about Dr. Phil McGraw, he of the marital woes, who had to pull the plug on a planned taped interview this week with the eight -witches- bitches who beat young Victoria Lindsay senseless in Florida last week for comments they claim she made on MySpace.

The recording was cancelled after Dr. Phil learned that a young production assistant, (pictured at right), sent to Florida to chase the story had actually posted bail for one of the girls. Or was it after the production assistant mouthed off about it to the press and illustrated, once again, how ruthless Dr. Phil is? One of those.

“We have helped guests and potential guests in the past when they need financial assistance to come on the show – assisting with clothing allowance, lost wages, accommodations, travel and necessities,” Corigliano said, according to the Associate Press. “In this case, certain staff members went beyond our guidelines.”

No word on whether or not this is speeding up Phil’s divorce, but we’d venture to say it’s not helping his whole “me, me, me” image with the wife.
