Emilio Navaira Update: Emilio Out Of Hospital, In Rehabilation
Tejano superstar Emilio Navaira continues his amazing recovery from a life-threatening brain injury sustained during a bus accident on Easter Sunday. Not only is he out of intensive care, he’s out of the hospital.
11 News was there when his team of nurses covered him with sheets and rolled him in for the therapy phase of his recovery.
“Although he still has a long way to go in his recovery, this is certainly a major milestone, and it is very encouraging for him and his family,” said Dr. Alex Valadka.

This is gonna make for a great moment at the Latin Grammy’s in Houston this November when he strolls out under his own will after months of recovery and therapy to perform the single off his latest concept album composed of romantic ballads and songs of inspirations. Or he’ll be knocking back a few cold ones to get rid of his headaches.
