Finding It Harder To Get Cocaine In The U.S? Blame Europe. Ever Liked Techno? Go ‘Head Blame Europe For That Too.

The euro is our anti-drug, it would seem. Also, bleeding gums. According to anti-drug officials in the U.S, there has been a drop in cocaine seizures here and it’s all thanks to a recession here versus a strong euro in, well. In Europe, obviously:
John Walters, director of US national drug control policy, said the amount of cocaine seized at the US south-western borders had declined.
The price and the purity of cocaine in US have also fallen, he said.
Meanwhile, Europe has seen a huge increase in availability as traffickers take advantage of the exchange rate.
At first we read “John Waters” and got a little excited. And began to talk quite loudly to people standing right in front of us. While thinking we can dance.
“There have been speculations that the power and strength of the euro and the cost of cocaine here in Europe have been the reason here for the movement - it’s more profitable and it’s a better currency exchange,” he said.
“There’s no doubt that those forces are there.”
The euro has risen by almost 20% against the dollar in the past 12 months to hit a record above $1.59. On Friday, the euro fetched $1.5825.
Let’s also blame them for manpris and people wearing highlighted mullets, yes?

John Walters is not only delusional, every word that comes out of his mouth is either a lie, or spun. This is the same idiot that calls marijuana, “America’s number 1 drug problem.” The same liar who concocted a story about a new turbo-powered form of Ecstasy laced with methamphetamine that was pouring across the border from Canada. A story later dismissed as exaggerated nonsense by Canadian law enforcement and several other credible entities.
The same delusional imbecile that said people using medicinal marijuana were contributing to political instablity and assassinations in Mexico.
What Mr. Walters knows about the realities of addiction, recovery and addressing substance abuse issues could be put on the head of a pin with an acre left over. Mr. Walters (and his ilk) are what’s wrong with America.
