Morrissey Wins Apology For Being Accused Of Racism

Remember when British magazine NME kinda called Morrissey a racist? Again? You do now, jerk. Well, it seems another British mag, the Word, also called His Pompadourness a bigot, but has since apologized:

The singer Morrissey has received an apology from British magazine the Word after it accused him of being a racist and hypocrite.
The former Smiths frontman, who is also pursuing a legal action against music magazine NME, is apparently “delighted” with the decision but did not attend court.
His lawyer John Reid said that an article in the March 2008 edition of Word “could have been construed to suggest that Mr Morrissey was a racist, held racist opinions or that (as the child of migrant parents) he was a hypocrite.

He best not be, seeing how Beaner-Americans basically butter his bread. Alotta alliteration! Alright! His lawsuit with NME, however, is still pending. Even though Morrissey is way too cool to care:

NME is facing a seperate legal challenge over an interview it published last year discussing the star’s views on immigration in Britain.
Mr Reid said: “Ultimately, my client would rather spend his time in concert than in court. Regrettably, he has had no choice but to institute both sets of proceedings in order to clear his name.”

You keep on keeping on, you sexy asexual man, you.
