Music Break: The Pinker Tones Are Happy Everywhere
Hey, we like the Barcelonian (Is that a word? It is now.) Pinker Tones. They wear ties. Also, they’re playing the Vans Warped Tour this summer all over the place. You should go watch them! For now, though, we can all watch the video for this track called, “Happy Everywhere.” It’s the first track off their upcoming album, “Wild Animals,” which was released April 1st in Europe, but will drop May 6th (says their MySpace page) or June 3rd (says their record company) here in good old Absolut Mexico. Uh, we mean the good old U. S. of A. (Please don’t boycott us, right-wing alcoholics.) Also, check out their MySpace page which features a flash-animated map of their concert locations. You can actually see them hurling towards America.

If they’re from Barthelona, why do they sing with a Brit accent? Color me unimpressed. Handclaps? Trumpet? Little skinny ties? C’mon. Forgettable.

@Benvolio: mayhaps they sing with brit accents cause they probably learned english from peeps with english accents (it’s that whole geography thing, you know).

Keep on introducing us to new music, since I already have my Warped Tour tickets, I’m pumped about seeing them. They are kind of a mellow version of Los Amigos Invisibles, watchale!
