We don’t normally like to indulge publicists, but we received an interesting item from one in our inbox yesterday letting us know that Eva Longoria was photographed wearing something called a “Rock Star Rosary.” Having been raised Catholic, the name of the item piqued our interest. Having been raised human, the model made us projectile vomit. What is this devil “Rockstar Rosary” being worn by Satan and who created it? A visit to Nicole Khristine, the makers’ website, (Warning! Horrible Kabbalah Rock playing there.) reveals:

The initial collection is divided into four categories: Angel, Rockstar, Faith and Signature. Faith features pendants with motifs borrowed from the major religions and rendered in subtle ways, such as a small dove in place of a crucifix.

Subtle and small. Like a newborn baby who has his father’s eyes. We took a look at the collection and their pieces should sell the crap out of a Yanni concert or a Renaissance festival, but the fascinating part is that they’re also selling like hotcakes to rich persons.

The collection is targeted at upscale boutiques and specialty stores and will retail from $1000 to about $9000, although the duo are already courting requests for custom orders that stretch beyond that.

And who exactly is wearing this stuff?

Celebrities such as Kate Beckinsale, Courtney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, David Arquette, Jamie Foxx and Brad Pitt have all been wearing various pieces from Nicole Khristine.

Well, if the Friends are wearing it, by all means. Also pictured on the site are Mary Kate Olsen, Audrina Partridge, Kim Kardashian, and some other people less famous than Kim Kardashian, which–let’s face it–is pretty unfamous. Obviously Tom Cruise is behind all this.
