The Most Important Show Of Our Time: The “Viva Hollywood” Trailer Is Here

After seven long months of waiting, the series premier of “Viva Hollywood,” the telenovela reality competition from VH1 and World of Wonder that will set Latinos back 50 years in this country, but also probably get you laid, is premiering this Sunday! The accompanying trailer which appeared in our inbox moments ago features every Latino icon/stereotype from Charo to the obiligatory, “Livin’ La Vida Loca” reference in the voiceover copy. Plus, appearances by co-hosts Maria Conchita Alonso and Carlos Ponce and literally “a galaxy of Latino stars.” Don’t they mean a Chevy full? We won’t bother to list all the cliches here when you can do it for us in the comments section. Winner gets her trensas pulled out by Gabriel!

Is it me or does the announcer belie his fake Spanish accent during his pronunciation of the word “papi”?
Like I told your brave editor, love the silly concept, God help us, but the title sucks bad. “Viva Hollywood!?” how about “Chili con Beef-cake,” or “Huevos Raunch-eros!” Ok, could’n help that one, my hot Latin blood got the best of me…Is there an age limit? Maybe I can audition for season 2…
Also, I can’t believe they didn’t tap me for this.
I like queso fundido as much as the next guy, but this just looks nasty. And that was even before Perez “spontaneous barf” Hilton showed up.
And what happened to Carlos Ponce?…I used to have a big crush on him, and now he looks bloaty.
But I love the guy who tearily said, “I had my pants down before anybody else on this show!” If that had been said by a ten-years-ago Carlos Ponce, I might watch.
But, in the words of Maria Botoxo Alonso, “esta muerto.”
Man, I’m feeling some pena ajena right now…
this is a trainwreck waiting to happen…i am sooooooo watching this. just to see maría’s face alone is going to be worth it!
