And here’s what Victoria’s parents, who think “MySpace is the anti-Christ” (We agree! Also, Facebook relationship statuses.), have to say. They talk about not being able to recognize their daughter’s face after her beating, of her history of violence and what it’s like seeing her attackers around town.

Jesus.
I’d willingly beat the shit out of all of them. Those cowards.
My heart goes out to that poor girl and her parents.

I saw the video of this girls assault and i have to say ive never been so disgusted in all my life. I however would not blame Youtube and Myspace. People have argued that this video was made by those girls to try and impress people or for fame or what ever. But how impresive is being sent to jail? The blame should be put where it belongs, on the girls who attacked that poor girl. I myself just graduated from high school and nothing like this ever occured in my town and we had myspace and youtube for most my time there. As far as i can tell these girls took things way to far and should be punished to the full extent of the law. NOTHING that girl could have written on myspace should have caused such a reaction. I hope she recovers quickly both physically and mentaly. As for the girls i think they should recieve some kind of therapy because they need to see their actions for the sick twisted things they are and hopefully feel some remorse for what they did.

I sincerely feel for these parents, but the internet is not at fault. Those kids are old enough to know better and 99.9999% of kids out there aren’t engaging in this kind of behavior. No, as someone on Gawker said, “Teen bullies have always been dumb. Now they just have more venues in which to display that stupidity.”

Victoria, take heart. Those girls that beat you have what is coming to them…. Darkness will cover the heads of your attackers…. Let those who have strength to act for good take action. Let those who have the power use their power for good. If the law does not prosecute we the people will take back the law……

I think what these girls did is absolutelty SICKENING. i think its sad that these girls are so pathetic and cold that they had to get six girls to gang up on someone to feel good about themselves and feel like a bunch of hard asses. And thankfuly we’ll see just how hard they think they are getting their asses beat to shit in prison. if i was that girl i would have been breaking shit all over that damn house id be running through the kitchen grabbing knives anything i could to defend myself and this girl could have easily done the same. This infuriates me even more because these girls obviously had an advantage and victoria was obviously helpless which makes the attack even more savage and barbaric than before. not to mention the girl she was staying with KNEW she was going through a lot of issues and STILL had the nerve to have those people come to her house to gang up on this poor girl and then complain they were getting to close to some shelves??!? its disgusting!! if i ever saw one of those girls in real life i would probably beat there ass myself.

After watching this video for the first time this morning my heart instantly sunk for Victoria. A similar thing happened to me when I was in high school for no good reason at all except for the girl who savagely beat me was simply trying to be tough and cool. I was also 16 at the time and am now 24 and am still affected today emotionally and mentally. What those girls did to Victoria was disgusting and completely immoral. How do you live with yourself doing that to another person? I could have cried myself hearing her crying as those girls hit her so hard over and over again. Do they realize they could have killed her?
As I said before, I was also in a similar situation only I was in school at the time this happened. The girl pulled my hair down as she hit me continuously in the face breaking my nose and blackening both of my eyes shut. I too was knocked unconscious. The teacher actually ran out of the room to get security I was getting beaten so badly. As the security guard ripped her off of me she still continued to kick me in my back. After that I returned to school two weeks later to only be tortured more for being looked at as weak and harassed by her and her friends. I ended up leaving high school early for home schooling. I became depressed, withdrawn, lost significant weight, lost all my friends, and all the joys in my life. I am still to this day seeking therapy and am on medication because of how traumatic this situation for me was.
All I can say is that to Victoria and her family is that there are so many other people that have gone through what she has and is going through and perhaps this is what was needed to finally put an end to bullying and violence at such a young age. It is damaging not just physically but so much more emotionally. It is traumatic. She has been raped and violated as a young person and her life will no longer be the same. The defendant lawyers should be shamed in trying to lessen this case to only minor physical damage. There is a much bigger picture here. I just want Victoria and her family to know that she is not alone and I myself am still going through the court system to finalize my traumatic experience almost 8 years ago. But I have come a long way being awarded $250,000 dollars for pain and suffering. But like I said it still has not changed the fact that my life had changed drastically after that damaging situation. Just know Victoria that I have come a long way and you just have to stay strong and keep going in life. A situation like this does not build character, it brings it out and in my eyes you are stronger than you know. This situation will only make you so much stronger to deal with all the other adversities that will come your way in life. And those other girls have only shown themselves to have a weaker character because they can’t control themselves and be decent human beings with a moral conscience. This will not help them later in life, only hurt them.
My heart and support goes out to Victoria and her family and all of those who have had to suffer through anything like this inexcusable, violent assault. All bullying and violence must be stopped and should not be acceptable among young kids or anyone in our society. It does nothing but bring us down as a whole.
God Bless,
Morgan

Why arent they being charged with attempted murder???????

I cannot believe this. It sickens me to see this poor girl get beat up. She did not deserve this and they should not have kidnapped or beat this girl up. It would be horrible to see your own child get beat up. I hope these girls pay and never see the light of day again.

I hope that these eight idiots get put away for years! They deserve to go to hell! I wish that I could have been there to beat the crap out of all eight for her!

To the Parents of Victoria,
If you read this I want you to know that we are with you in your fight against You Tube and MySpace. I hate both of those sites with a passion. Please fight for us. Your daughter did not throw a punch against those useless whores but you can throw a huge punch for society and get rid of those sites for good.
VICTORIA IS A HERO!!!!!
remember this those girls will be haunted for the rest of their lives for what they did to you.
“Your biggest punch was that video camera. You stood there like a hero and took the beating that the whole world felt. And because of your heroism to not fight back you showed the world what youtube, myspace and those cowards are really about and thats shock value. You maybe feeling the pain for now but when you look in the mirror remember you are a hero and those girls are going to live a long and dark life.”
We Love you Victoria your a Hero.

Lets put this in context.
If this was an iraqi insurgent and some soldiers were beating the crap out of him the world would go APE SHIT. Our soldiers merely put underwear on the heads of our enemies. They stripped them down and played with there pathetic dignity and the whole world screamed for change and demonized america.
Why are these girls not being charged with TORTURE!! They did worse things to her then we did to the iraqi prisoners

i think she should have not started that stuff on the computer and then non of this would have started then i also say that nothing is that serious to beat a child till the point that it is call abuse also even though they did she should have fought back insteed of letting them beat up on her but i wil kep the family in my prayers and let her noe mess on myspace is not called for at all

People are missing the point: If victoria fought back the video would have been a fight, and it would be VERY difficult to lay charges against anyone. Since it was just a gang-beating, there is no reason why the monsters who wailed on her shouldn’t go to prison.
And, she probably thought that if she fought abck it would just get worse. Think about it; there are 6 of them and she doesn’t know what is going to happen next. she’s terrified!
All we can pray for is that the girls go to prison and the inmates give them a taste of their own medicine.

Ok, I have read this story and watched the video over and over and over again. It’s killing me to try and figure out what could possibly have been said to drive all 6 of these girls to do such a thing. besides that they are mentally sick in the head… I am a female myself; I know how the mind works of 14-17 year old girls. I too have been in high school and have been called slutty, talked bad about on myspace, and behind my back of people that I thought were my friends. I also wanted to kick people’s asses plenty of time in my teenage years because of all the s**t talking. It’s all part of life we all go through it, I guess some just tolerate it better than others. but Can you honestly sit here and say that Victoria deserved it and should not have been talking s**t and not show any remorse. I can recall and I am sure 99% of all girls can that they have talked about some one, called them names, and said they didn’t like a person behind their backs, but are friendly to their face. I do it now and I am 23 years old. Can you also believe that the 6 of those girls, sick enough to plan something so horrid wouldn’t be a cause of the whole reason Victoria may have talked about them behind their backs. I picture them coming up with a vicious plan one as vicious and heartless as that video, going to Victoria and saying stuff like example: I can’t stand Mercedes she such a slut…So that gives her the opportunity to talk about them too…or even worse, these girls could have hacked into her myspace and posted these things. Besides that, the point is all six of these girls get what they deserve.
Another thing…..
If these girls are so hardcore, and don’t like people talking trash about them. I’m sure all the stuff that’s being said about them now doesn’t make them so happy. It’s posted for millions to see and to state their opinion. I’m sure it doesn’t feel too good to hear people say that these girls are ugly people, jealous, have mental issues and insecure about themselves. Are they going to trap the whole world in their house and beat us up too?? For the girl who wants to know if she will be returning to cheerleading..Oh honey, you have got a lot to learn, you are going to be too busy watching your back in the jail cells somewhere in Florida and for the ones talking about missing your summer..on the bright side you will be spending it behind the bars of a dark concrete cell of much to your ungrateful little heart, you deserve what ever you get while your there. And I LOVE IT! I don’t expect you to feel sorry for what you did,or to apologize. why because your apology wouldn’t be worth it not to me, I’m sure not to Victoria, and the world would just keep criticizing you, because you appearance is nothing but of a dumb founded white trash teen who has no future. Congratulations!!! You got what you wanted; your ugly little faces are all over the world for the disgraceful video you wanted them to see. And you got nothing out of it but a home in a jail cell…where you can’t yell “GO TEAM GO!” and I hope they tape your graduation where all your little buddies are waving walking down the isle with nothing but I bright future ahead of them, of course you will get to walk down the isle too. Infact you will walk down the isle a lot, in the courts and in jail, practice makes perfect. I hope the judge does the right thing

Utube and My Space and the secondary culprits of perpetuating violence. However, Let’s not forget these “girl’s” ruthless and animalistic behavior towards another human being who wasn’t able to defend herself against 8 individuals. Even if it’s true (which we really don’t know) who cares if she did talk “shit” about them – does that give them the right to beat her causing serious injuries. Let them think about that while they rotting in a prison cell. Will see how tough they are behind bars!
