Wecomics Gone Crazy!: When April Fools’ Jokes Go Terribly Right
1 April 2008, 12:10 PM. By Daniel Mauser
What with all the pregnant men and Nazi orgies going on -at Guanabee HQ- lately, it’s easy to forget that, sometimes, April Fools’ jokes can be well-executed and elicit a response of “Haha! Got me!” rather than “Pleesh remoof zeesh gimp bawl frum mah mouf.” We found it cute that webcomics (shut up) Qwantz, Questionable Content and XKCD decided to switch up their URLs, inspiring at least one boy we know to laugh and then remind us how terrible we are for liking QC upon his being tricked into reading it.
The romance between an indie boy and a reformed goth is heartwarming and interesting as fuck, ok?!
Anyway, haha! You got us.

You evil blogging geniuses are so practically perfect, that I almost shudder to mention that you mean “elicit” instead of “illicit.” Though I’m sure you will have no lack of uses for “illicit”…and some of them even in print!
@ escobar: Fixed & thanks. I blame the shock of discovering that Dora had turned into a dinosaur / QC was starting to become funny again.
