Yale University Might Abort Aliza Shvarts Final Project If She Doesn’t Admit It’s A Work Of “Creative Fiction”

Yale University has threatened not to display senior art student Aliza Shvarts’ final project unless she admits the whole thing was fake as our enthusiasm in typing the name Aliza Shvarts one more fucking time:
The Ivy League school stood by its claim Monday that Aliza Shvarts fabricated a shocking work of “creative fiction” in detailing how she constructed her senior art project.
“In this case, we will not permit her to install the project unless she submits a clear and unambiguous written statement that her installation is a work of fiction: that she did not try to inseminate herself and induce miscarriages, and that no human blood will be physically displayed in her installation,” Yale College Dean Peter Salovey said in a statement released Monday.
Under normal circumstances, Shvarts’ work would be displayed at the School of Art for “critique and discussion” with a faculty committee, according to Salovey.
Then Yale basically called her an asshole, which is kind of like a pot calling a kettle an asshole:
Yale has called her a performance artist, saying that her denial of the school’s version of events is part of her performance. The university insisted last week that in interviews with Shvarts, she told them her stories were false.
We’re not sure if that’s so much a “performance” as it is “straight-up lying like a cowardly motherfucker backed against a wall.” But, whatever. Not like we’re artists or anything. Whenever we gush blood into a cup on film, it’s more of a science. A money-making, lucrative, calculated science.

This whole story has a vague resemblance to that guy, Guillermo Vargas, who caused controversy in the art world last year.

Guillermo supposedly starved a dog to death for the sake of art and gained accolades for it. Some say it was a hoax, others say it’s totally true. Now there is a petition to stop him from having an exhibit at an upcoming show in Honduras.

So, did this copycat (copydog) Aliza follow Guillermo to the shock party? Hmmm…
