The plight of the Mexican emo is once again being documented by the world press. This time it’s BBC Radio who ran a special report on the great vengeance and furious anger being struck down on the eyelinered esquincles. Like Alberto, age 16, who is pictured at left. He says it can take him up to 30 minutes to get his androgynous look just right. After the jump listen to a recording of Edgar the emo (with the help of Nigel the translator) explaining what it means to be an emo and making the case for his own beat down, really.
