Anal fissures? Nope.
Walking in on your parents having Furry sex? Try again.
Carlos Mencia? No. Worse.
Writing up a post on how stupid Carlos Mencia is and how he makes the same, tired, patently untrue observations that “Mexicans are poor and drunk!” (Some drunk Mexicans are rather rich, we’ve found.) and realizing you just laughed at something in his sketch. Yeah. So maybe the “Why did it have to be snakes?” part in his Indiana Jones parody made us giggle. But at least we didn’t walk in on Carlos Mencia in a Furry costume in the process of giving our parents anal fissures.

The worst part is he’s a total fake. He’s not Mexican, he’s not even 100% Latin! His name is not even Carlos Mencia (look it up), it’s Ned Holness. He’s also notorious for stealing other comedian’s jokes. I’m sure you can find this stuff online… if you wish to waste your time. He’s the biggest waste of Comedy Central airtime in the channel’s existence. He should be locked in a room with Perez Hilton.
Oh Jonathan, who’s 100% anything these days??? and who cares that his real name is Ned. I got a Nicoya friend who’s last name is Downing. Carlos’ crime is that he is unfunny and recycles tired race clicxhes instead of pokes holes through them ala Chappelle.
I agree with both of you that he is not funny. Also he rips of other comedian’s jokes that is true. Him and sarah silverman are both not funny at all.
Lito: Why does a half white, half Honduran man with an English surname take on a Spanish moniker and passes himself off as a Mexican everyman, only to exploit tired stereotypes of “Mexicans” and Latinos as stupid, uneducated, poor, probably illegal, backward “beaners” in his comedy act? Come on, that detail is not unimportant.
Mencia sucks, like Lopez and tired Chorizo jokes, oh wait, that’s funny…
I’ll pass on Mencia. Just. Not. Funny.
