If you’re anything like us, you’re probably starting to plan your annual summer trip to Iceland (Reykjavik ‘08, baby!). Why not take a break from stuffing your face with Þorramatur and stuff it instead with penis… knowledge. You probably don’t know dick about cock until you visit Iceland’s Phallological Museum, a collection of phallic paraphernalia organized by Sigurdur Hjartarson. Plus, this might be the only museum where you can leave a souvenir:

His collection, which began in 1974 with a single bull’s penis that looked something like a riding crop, now boasts 261 preserved members from 90 species.

The largest, from a sperm whale, is 70 kg (154 lb) and 1.7 meters (5.58 ft) long [Ed. note: Oh, hello!]. The smallest, a hamster penis bone, is just 2 mm and must be viewed through a magnifying glass.

One species conspicuous by its absence is homo sapiens, but that may soon be rectified since a German, an American, an Icelander and a Briton have promised to donate their organs after death, according to certificates on display.

Hehe. “Rectified.” So, who’s up for visiting this museum with us?

Can we add “dinglehopper”, “Wieners”, “Salami”, “Shlong” and “Mr. Ferguson” to the tags?

they should try to get danny bonaduce to donate his penis. I bet he wouldn’t miss it! just like the hamster, you’d have to look at it with a magnifying glass.
