Happy Corona De Mayo, Everybody
5 May 2008, 2:30 PM. By Guanabee Staff
It’s May 5th. The historic day American beer companies decided to create a spike in post-holiday, pre-summer lagging sales. It’s also the historic Mexican date that is much easier for Americans to say that el dies y seis de septiembre. Today is fun for watching our non-hispanic friends bar hop in large sombreros while drinking the crappier end of tequilas and Mexican beers. Also something about the French. But the most special thing about May 5th is it’s the day God gave us our very own Mexican angel from heaven, Daniel Mauser, who was born on this day 28 years ago. Awwww. Can we drink now?
