Mexican Emos In Their Own Words And Then Translated To The Queen’s English- Part Two
22 May 2008, 3:30 PM. By Guanabee Staff
There’s so much good stuff going on in the BBC Radio special report on Mexican emos we couldn’t stop with just one post. No, you must suffer through the deep thoughts of highly emotional Mexican teens with us. Then you can go out and knock off a liquor store. The judge will totally understand! In this installment, Karla the “slightly chubby,” (Really, BBC? Do these kids need eating disorders, too?) Hello Kitty-wearing, emo chick from El Chopo explains that emo teens just feel things more. Like when they’re happy? They’re like REALLY happy. Oo-oh. Then she calls some music that sounds like Fall Out Boy “hard.” Not as hard, though, as the boot some punk will surely put in her ass after they hear her interview, which you will find after the jump.
