Mexican Pharmaceuticals Will Make You Sick

The New York Times took a look at California’s Central Valley, “The Appalachia of the West,” where many migrant workers take pharmaceutical drugs sent by family members in Mexico in order to self-medicate, often using improper doses, because they cannot afford to visit a doctor. Kind of like people we know, except they don’t steal them from mom as she’s recovering from surgery to correct a deviated septum. And deviated belly fat.

Comments

Why is this news? If you can self medicate properly more power to you. There are plenty of people who die each year from stupider things than this. This is just a example of stupid people thinking they know things. People who can self medicate, and exactly understand how to use medicine, should do so, and save money. Dosage is not exactly a rocket science.
