Salma Hayek’s Brother, Sami, Is Right On Target

Salma Hayek’s brother, Sami, has a collection of home furnishings and decor at Target. Yes!:

The collection features home furnishings and accessories that blend contemporary chic with native Mexican culture. The multifunctional pieces are ideal for small spaces and are designed with minimal packaging that’s made to be reused or recycled. The collection includes bedding, lamps, clocks, and unique home-organizing accessories.

We’re not sure how “native Mexican” his collection is, but Sami Hayek’s designs are definitely bright, colorful and very appealing. If we didn’t live in a dank, dark 10′ x 9′ dungeon we’d totally consider buying a pillow or something.

We think Sami’s bright color palette and whimsical patterns would look best paired with natural woods and minimal furniture. What do you think? Would you buy Hayek’s collection?
