Facestat Reveals Brown, Fat People Perceived As Dumb And Poor (As If You Didn’t Know)

We love this website Facestat that turns prejudice into a science. Billed as “Market research for the individual,” it lets you upload your picture and have people rate you with superficial impressions that it then calculates into percentages and organizes into tags. We searched for “dumb” and “poor” people and found this guy at left. Not surprisingly, users overwhelmingly guessed he is Hispanic/Latino (versus Asian), divorced, unfunny and not trustworthy. After the jump, Asian women are considered smart, a search for “dumb and attractive” produces overwhelmingly female results and colored hair and piercings make people think you are a lesbian.
