





Fernet-Branca, an Italian amaro popular in Argentina, has unveiled a series of ads across New York City advising Eurotrash-Guanabees to “Embrace the Bitter.” Because nothing perks up a Coca-Cola quite like the gastronomical equivalent of having someone hold your head in a dirty bathtub full of Listerine backwash.

Ha! Evidently I live in the eurotrash guanabee capital of the world because Fernet had been the trend de jour in San Francisco for years…

So, popular in SF and Argentina? We can basically conclude this is a drink for people who think they’re better than everyone else. (And ok, may be right).
But its actually not that bad. Maybe I even like Fernet and Coke….

Hey! This product started having Success in Cordoba, Argentina. Now they want to extrapolate their success everywhere they can.
It’s certainly an acquired taste, anyone should at least drink 10 long glasses of 30% Fernet 70% coke. After that you can never stop.
