Guanabee Parties With Tequila Don Julio In Montauk; Realizes Tequila Has Been Taken Over By The “White” Man.

Last week Guanabee got a chance to party with Tequila Don Julio at the seemingly low-key Surf Lodge in Montauk, Long Island. Upon our arrival we were surprised to see there were no Latinos in the scene, only waspy New Yorkers who had come to escape the scorching heat of the city. As we made our way across the front entrance of the lodge towards the patio, we felt the heavy gaze of the “beautiful people”, mostly dressed in Lily Pullitzer, upon us. While the thought was exhausting, we figured our only way to survive that party and score some free alcohol was to vogue as well. So we ordered a delicious Margarita and posed and pouted.
It was a beautiful afternoon and besides the slightly obnoxious crowd and the obviously planted celebrities: actor Jason Lewis (”Smith” from Sex and the City) and male supermodel Tyson Beckford, the cocktails and music were pretty good. The drink menu included delicious Margaritas on the rocks, not frozen, and straight up Tequila Añejo. Proof that we survived the flamingo-shorts-wearing crowd after the jump:
