A little Guatemalan boy with a hot haircut was left in an Indiana Wal-Mart by his mother, along with a hand-written note stating she could not afford to care for him and a little backpack with his belongings. OMG, just like Dora!:
The boy is thought to be about 2 1/2 years old, named MartÃn and from Guatemala. Wal-Mart employees found him wandering in the store’s fabric department.
Worst “Project Runway” challenge ever.
“Where he’s at now, in foster care, he’s been interacting with the other children and playing with them,” Maj. Jeff Ward, a detective with the Frankfort Police Department, said Monday. “He understands English, but we’re not sure if he speaks it.
“The letter suggests that he was abandoned. Nobody has come forward to report him missing.”
Sad! And since we’re nothing if not gross sadists, here’s another detail to tug at your heartstrings. We hear that feels real bad:
His backpack contained a baby bottle, “sippy” cups, diapers and toys.
Authorities have not been able to authenticate the letter left, supposedly, by his mother and he has not seemed to be responding to the name “Martin,” so they are asking anyone with information about the little boy to come forward. We wish the little boy the best — as well as other children who find themselves in similar situations when their parents feel desperate and without other option.
That said, we’ll totally babysit Maybe Martin. We’ll just lay down newspaper or whatever.

…and immediately, WalMart hired(enslaved) Martin as one of their new cleaning people.
tiny hands, people. tiny hands.

WHAT the FUCK is wrong with the mother? She couldn’t think of a better place? Any opportunistic molester could just swoop him up and nobody’d be the wiser.
I used to work in retail, and kids would get lost in the store all the time. I’d say “let’s go find mommy,” and it would make you SICK how easily they’d put their tiny little hand in mine and just walk away with me. I wanted to shake them and say “you NEVER take a strangers hand! You scream and RUN AWAY!!”
This kid had an angel on his shoulder. For one reason, he’s safe, and the other reason he’s lucky? He’s away from his dumbass mom.

I just hope and pray that he is in a good foster home. He deserves a better life. I am so thankful he was found and the authorites called as so many children are abducted by sick abusers!
I haven’t heard any more info on this case…wonder if they have found the Mother?
