Latinas Show 'Em How It's Done At The Crystal + Lucy Awards

The “Women In Film, Crystal + Lucy Awards” were held last night in Los Angeles and, we know, it’s crazy that we totally neglected to pencil it into our calendars. It’s like the Oscars! Of awards shows we never knew existed. Several lovely and talented ladies were in attendance, and Nicole Richie also showed up. Interestingly enough, the dress code asks that you wear “black and white or any color you choose.” Those facists!

Salma Hayek, who took home the 2008 Lucy Award, looked stunning in a black skirt suit paired with a crisp, white shirt while Cameron Diaz chose to go with a summery dress and pashmina combination in a reddish-coral color. Eva Mendes, meanwhile, wore some shit we’ve already forgotten, and messy hair.

Photographic evidence, after the jump:

Does Salma ever look bad?

We want to be Cameron’s friend so we can borrow that dress and gossip about how tiny Justin Timberlake’s penis is.

Gorgeous girl in a less-than-stellar dress. Plus, our mom would totally be up on the red carpet brushing our hair out of our face if we wore it like that.

Can you guys do something about the quality of the pics? too small and blurry.

Most of the pictures we use are formatted as pop-ups. So just click ‘em to get a detailed look at Cameron’s gigantic pores.

I do and those aren’t very good either. Maybe I just don’t know how to work my comp , I am Mexican.

1: if you click on the pic, they look worse.

2: Although your comment on Eva Mendes was funny, (“shit we’re already forgotten”) I think she looks good. Low maintenance look like us little people.. yaaay!

it’s not the G-Bees fault. the people are just not lit well, at all. especially, Eva. she’s facing the entrance, with the setting sun. overall, whoever planned this should be shot and made to watch Ghost Rider.
