More View: Michelle Obama Didn’t Wear Pantyhose For Barbara Walters

Now that we’ve had time to digest the very important softening of Michelle Obama’s image on “The View” this morning, we’ve figured out the problem with this show. Five women, who complain five minutes earlier about not being taken seriously by the media, start out with a conversation on how Black women are represented in the media–Whoopi Goldberg thanks Michelle for not having gold teeth–and are then interrupted by the show’s leader, Barbara Walters, who asks Michelle why she didn’t wear pantyhose for the show. The answer? Barbara, your very old. P.S. Sherri Shepard’s sycophantism is palpable.
