





A New Jersey truck driver and not, surprisingly, a Floridian one, has been sentenced to five years in prison after stealing Francisco Goya’s Children with a Cart. Steven Lee Olson (Never trust someone with three names. Ever.) and his accomplice, Roman Szurko, stole the work of art as it was being transporting from the Toledo Museum of Art in Ohio to the Guggenheim in New York City. They attempted to collect a $50,000 reward from the Toledo Museum by saying they had found it in the basement wall of Olson’s home.
Because goodness knows famous Spanish paintings are forever finding their way into faux wood-paneled dens decorated with neon Coors Light signs and Playboy calendars from the 80s.
