PSA Alert! Drinking Heavily Will Make You Look Like A Hot Tranny Mess

A new anti-drinking campaign posted in the London Underground warns women that “binge-drinking will destroy their looks for good.” The campaign poster, a product of London’s Drug and Alcohol Service, shows a (wo?)man hot mess with ugly skin and a bad makeup job. Kinda like Amy Winehouse! It carries the message: “If you drink like a man you might end up looking like one.” According to the Daily Mail:

Research by the charity revealed that two out of five women are worried about the physical impact of drink and only a third about health risks. [...] The service’s research found that two out of five women felt getting fat would stop them from drinking too much compared with a third concerned about heart disease.

We would be happy to elaborate on the apparent contradiction in an ad that “promotes” women’s health with sexist “drink like a man” language but we’re too drunk. More to the point, does this margarita make our ass look fat?
