Salmonella Tomatoes: Nobody Knows WTF Is Going On. Least Of All The FDA.

Well, 552 Americans since April have been identified with cases of the same genetic strain of salmonella–which means there are probably thousands of cases that have gone unreported–half of them are in the state of Texas. Meanwhile, the FDA and the CDC can’t find a tomato that tests positive with salmonella. [Ed: We told ya!] Strangely, Lou Dobbs summed up our feelings Friday evening on his CNN show when he said, dumbfoundedly: “Sheer, BRAZEN incompetence.” Hey! They should change the name from FDA to SBI. If they’re not going to be helpful, at least they could make us laugh.
