Shocker: Jocks Ask Lesbians (From “A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila”!) To Stop Making Out At Seattle Mariners Game

Seattle woman-of-the-flower Sirbrina Guerrero who is also a former contestant from “A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila II” (which kind of makes this whole story sketch, but we’ll ignore that for now) and her (female) date were approached in the third inning of a Mariners-Red Sox game at Safeco Field on May 26 and asked to dispense with the kissing. We thought straight men love that shit?

The usher, Guerrero said, told them he had received a complaint from a woman nearby who said that there were kids in the crowd of nearly 36,000 and that parents would have to explain why two women were kissing.

Ahh, the classic woman hating on other women. Perhaps she was made uncomfortable by the feelings it brought up for her? For their part, a spokeswoman for the Mariners said that the usher was responding to a complaint of two women “making out and groping in the stands.” Once again, we thought the usual protocol is to broadcast this sort of thing on the Jumbotron for all to cheer.

Guerrero denied she and her date were groping each other, saying that along with eating garlic fries, they were giving each other brief kisses.

Seriously, next to Old Bay seasoning, garlic fries tops the list of things you don’t eat while groping a woman’s nether regions. And no one knows that better, of course, than another woman.

Dan Savage eventually got involved in this fiasco and it became, like, the biggest hullabaloo to hit Seattle since Frasier. People, (we imagine PTA moms mostly), started bringing up the fact that Ms. Guerrero works at a bar with “scantily clad women.” (Her “Tila Tequila II” profile says she’s a professional mechanical bull rider!) Seriously, ladies, is this 21st century Seattle or late 19th century Utah? Or, even, 21st century Utah? Things were “settled” eventually when the Mariners apologized for being double-standard enforcing buttonholes.
