Beverly Hills Chihuahua Hits Us With Cringeworthy Teaser

Well, we were right. The mysterious “Heel” chihuahua posters all over New York City are part of a teaser campaign for the Disney, oh-no-they-didn’t, all-star production that takes a Beverly Hills chihuahua back to his roots in Mexico. It’s called Beverly Hills Chihuahua and in this clip, a dog named “Papi” (of course) lists his demands for all Mexican dogs: “All you can eat taco bars: Mas!” Well, okay, we’d be into more all you can eat taco bars, too. But only if they’re al pastor.

This movie will be awful. And I’m sure the BF’s mom is going to think it looks soo cute and will want to see it. She’s crazy like that. Silly, but crazy.

because… I WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE! Please don’t hate me!!!! I’m a hardcore indie film buff, I don’t know this attraction is coming from. I’m frightened.
And I’m sad because someone cut a Chihuahua puppy in half this weekend in my home town. So not cool.

Thousands of inteligent, thoughtful scripts get tossed away by the studios review departments yet feces like this gets made.
It’s a sad, sad day when a dog that looks more like a rodent gets it’s own movie.
I’m gonna go ahead and start weeping for the future now.
