Eva Mendes is a lovely woman. We don’t think we’ve ever heard anything remotely disparaging about her looks and she photographs really well pretty much always. So, why oh why, would Calvin Klein decide to make her look like an emaciated painted trollop to advertise their underwear line?
This ad, with Eva looking like she has damaged hair and a possible case of scurvy, makes it look like she applied her makeup with a shovel. In a trailer. In rural Florida. After preparing a spoonful of meth. Which doesn’t make us want to buy her underwear so much as it makes us think of skidmarks.
