“Ex-Boyfriend Jewelry” Sure Beats A Voodoo Doll

“Ex-Boyfriend Jewelry” is a site that allows women (and dudes) to sell old jewelry given to them by an ex - jewelry like this Tiffany “Knot Ring” given by an ex after he cheated on the seller with her best friend. Well, damn.
The site allows sellers to set their own price and make money without having to look at that stupid Cubic Zirconia dolphin toe ring staring at them from a jewelry box. In addition to women’s jewelry, the site also features “Things That Should Have Been Jewelry” and men’s jewelry and accessories.
Our favorite feature? A little something they call the “Good Karma Fund:”
We’ve set up the Ex-Boyfriend Jewelry Good Karma Fund benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Click the “Donate” botton in the column on the right to give a little something back.
Or go straight to Network for Good - You can make a donation to help victims in China or Myanmnar or any of your favorite charities directly from your PayPal account.
Aw! What a nice thing to do in between chugging down whiskey while scanning Craigslist’s Missed Connections and crying in the fetal position. The whole thing sounds like an absolutely positive way of dealing with a bad break-up and all the rhinestone-studded carnage left in the aftermath.

At first I thought, “well ok but isn’t that what Ebay is for?” But then I went to the site, and found they put stories next to the pictures:
It just so happened that one of the more thoughtful pieces of jewelry I ever got was from a boyfriend who ended up realizing he was gay. He got this at an art festival we went to together.
I received this from my ex while he was on an over-seas business trip. He never returned from over-seas! And no explanation whatsoever!!! I’m still on “slow burn”! Can you believe it!!
OKAY, YOU ARE GONNA LAUGH!! THIS SET WAS PURCHASED BY A TOLL BOOTH OPERATOR. YES, A REAL PERSON, NOT A MACHINE, BUT JUST AS BORING AS A MACHINE!!
So for the condensed entertainment value, I think this site is very worthwhile. This is going to get sent to all my friends.
