<description>Are these the same women who blame men who go in the developing countries for the sex industry? I would bet yes !-) Reality can be cruel sometimes, to both sexes...

		<description>Dearest Lulu -

Do not judge a book by its cover; I am sad for you and your ignorance. I do encourage you however to at least check your spelling when choosing to make a dig at a young woman who has done nothing but brought a fantastic light onto a topic that indeed the conventional blue blooded woman knows nothing about.

My Best,
Carrie Bradshaw

		<description>Lulu,

I think your post is rather off topic.

But speaking of subjugation....after millennia of women's futures being "colonized" by men.... I thought it was a shift in history worth exposing, irrespective of any moral judgment.

In response to your objection to my "blue blood": as this article suggests....indeed, maybe its time to mix it up!

-Ariana

<description>Um, my post about finding a Brazilian sperm donor was tongue-in-cheek, so I'm a bit confused that it was used as "research" for this article.

Also, I resent the fact that I've been depicted as an "Anglo" woman when I'm actually Scottish, therefore ethnically Celtic. And I don't feel that my preference for dark-skinned, dark-haired men is because I want to dehumanize Brazilian, or other Latin American, men. I have just always preferred darker men, whether they're from Latin America or not. I'm just not attracted to paler, blond types. What can I do if darker men are just what genuinely turns me on?!

I will admit, though, that I probably do find Latin American men to be a bit on the exotic side. Hell, I'm from Scotland where all the men are pale and flabby (from all that rain!), so it would be pretty hard not to find them exotic. However, I don't think that white people are the only ones guilty of exoticizing other cultures. Even in the US, where I live now, I've dated black guys who got a kick out of the fact that I'm European and supposedly "cultured" and "sophisticated". I think every culture has stereotypes about other cultures, and that is fine as long as you're able to look beyond the stereotypes to see the person underneath. If I &lt;i&gt;was&lt;/i&gt;going to try to find a Brazilian sperm donor, he would hardly be the first person I'd find after I stepped off the plane. He'd have to be smart, well-read, artistic, handsome i.e. be all those "human" things I'd expect any man to be, regardless of his ethnicity, culture or nationality.

Anyway, you might be happy to know that I'm not likely to be rushing off to Brazil any time soon to get knocked up. I'm actually dating a white guy from Ohio (but even he has olive skin and dark hair!.
